The converting equipment is tailored to individual needs from a long list of options. Machine performance is determined by the selected options and the nature of the materials.

Bragernes machines are suitable for winding a wide variety of products including:  paper and plastic gift wrap, self-adhesive vinyl, greaseproof paper, solar window film, wallpaper borders and many similar products.

The Bragernes BM-1005 Base Rewinder was developed and perfected over a number of years. Today Bragernes uses the latest PLC technology to control paper length and machine functions. Equipped with the optional core feeder and cardboard sheet feeder it is the most flexible and reliable small roll converting machine available.

The Bragernes BM-1005 Base Rewinder can convert paper from 25 to 120 gr/m2 as well as plastic material from 25- 75 micron.

The Bragernes Cardboard Sheet Feeder is designed to efficiently produce rolls with core like appearance on the Bragernes BM-1005 Base Rewinder and uses the latest PLC technology and servo systems to measure sheet length and position the sheet correctly in the roll.

The controls are integrated in the touchscreen panel of the rewinder. Sheet length and position can be adjusted even while the machine is running.

    News
A BR-3 fully automatic slitter rewinder for the production of coated paper rolls used in narrow and wide format ink jet printing machines has been sold to a major UK converter. The machine incorporates a core hopper and end of roll labelling system. The finished rolls are discharged on a conveyor to the packaging line. A unique feature is the tuckless start which eliminates marking.

Driven shaft Winder
Max. mother reel diameter 1500 mm.
Max. width 1600 mm.
Driven shaft centre winders specially for processing materials with surfaces sensitive to marking (metalized, carbonless, high gloss boards, etc). producing softer reel densities. Rewinding on a single shaft, thus reducing the influence of the roll weight. Also ideal for slitting rolls with narrow slit widths
