Pasaban have developed a
high capacity 2.2m wide synchronous sheeter which has recently been delivered to
a French paper mill. The level of automation employed ensures a daily
production of between 250-300 tonnes. Automatic features include: reel splicing,
core removal, double bank slitting knife positioning, sheet length adjustment,
overlapping, layboy settings and stack removal. The Pasaban overlapping system
eliminates marking of coated papers.
